Due to overnight storms, District 6 tryout have been moved to Clinton HS (401 Arrow Drive, Clinton)
Registration at Clinton High School will now start at 9:30 am and the tryout will start at 10:30 am

Entry Fee:
$5 per person to try out. Give to coach along with waiver!
$150 for each player that makes the team. Players should bring the $150 with them to check-in at Meridian Community College on Monday, June 10, 2024
You must attend the tryout for your district and be selected to the team in order to play in the State Games All Star event at Meridian Community College.
Deadline:
Register at the tryout site at 9:00 am the morning of tryouts for your District.

Format/Rules:
MHSAA rules apply.
4-team pool play format.
Individual Waivers
MUST BE SIGNED by every athlete and legal guardian. Forms must be turned in at tryout locations.
2025-2026 Public and Private school graduates only!!!

ALL STAR BASEBALL FINALS
June 10-14, 2024 Meridian Community College
- 18 players and 2 alternates will make the team from each district. The Finals Tournament will be played at Meridian Community College on June 10-14, 2024. Each player must bring $150 (cash or check made out to State Games of MS) with them on Monday, June 10th for check-in at MCC.
INFORMATION FOR COACHES/PLAYERS that make the All Star Team:
Coaches: Bring ALL paperwork from your tryout along with the money from your tryouts to MCC on June 10th at check in. Bring the paperwork for ALL the guys who are selected for the ALL Star Team and the paperwork for ALL the players who didn't make the team.
Coaches do dress out - Pants, etc. (Jerseys will be provided.)
Coaches Bring:
Bucket of balls for your team to throw with
Helmets for your team to use
Players bring:
Catchers bring their own gear.
Jerseys will be provided and washed after each game by State Games personal.
Bring both grey & white pants, so you can swap out each day. Pants, socks, etc, will NOT be washed by State Games.
Bring your own schools game hats, socks, and belt.
Things to bring for dorm - Pillow, sheets, towels, all toiletries, TV if you want one.
Coolers for drinks and snacks. ***State Games will only provide 1 meal for the players, which will be on Monday night before the Home Run Derby and Fastest Man Competition. There will be a concession stand at Scaggs Field and there are several restaurants with in walking distance of the dorms: Little Caesars, Popeyes, McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, Waffle House and San Marcos.
